About me

Do you find yourself struggling with decision making, setting boundaries, or balancing your own needs with those of others? Are you dealing with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, or loss?
I have an attachment and emotion-focused approach, which means I believe the relationship between us is where healing happens. I focus on creating connection, trust, and safety, and tend to spend a lot of time with emotion. We will also your explore early experiences with caregivers and family, and how they may have shaped your connection with your self and others.
I am warm, direct, intuitive and playful. I try to be open about what I am thinking, and honest about what I do not know.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in community and sexual healthcare for many years. This fed my curiosity about the mind-body connection, including chronic pain, chronic illness, and trauma.
I love working with LGBTQIA+ folks to explore sexuality and gender identity, work on relationship issues, or address wounds that have gotten in the way of connecting with all parts of one’s self.
I often work with clients who are neurodivergent. We can find strategies for emotional regulation, make space to grieve what was missed when you were younger, learn to meet unmet needs, and work on those critical internal voices.
Other areas of focus: complex PTSD and relational trauma, religious trauma, relationship issues and communication, immigrant experiences, and burnout/moral injury for those in helping roles.
I am a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA, Lic# MC61513069), and earned my masters from Antioch University Seattle. I have a BA in Psychology from Bard College. I am supervised by Regina Stanley (LMFT, Lic# LF61131246).
